What’s been happening:

I still keep up with Tom Frangesh, from the unparalleled "Shelter" days, but have not heard much from others. I have two children in college: my son is at Brown after 5 years in the USMC; my daughter is married with two young sons and studying at George Mason. I finished my PhD at Georgetown in Computational Linguistics, and started my own computer company-specializing in understanding how to search people's names from around the world. Three years ago, IBM bought the company (now called IBM Global Name Recognition). I just finished my tenure with them, so I'm going to take some time off.
